Nature Risk

Delivering foresight to ensure sustainable businesses

Overview

It is estimated that 55% of global GDP relies moderately to highly on nature's provisions. In an effort to bring awareness, governing bodies have been putting regulatory pressure on corporations and institutions, calling for greater accountability in the activities they engage in that potentially have adverse impacts on nature. For investors and the public, good-to-know basis is gradually transitioning to a need-to-know basis, thereby encouraging greater transparency in disclosures. Newly established frameworks, such as one created by the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), are setting the standards for reporting, allowing for comparability, standardisation, and consistency for firms across the globe. In addition, analytical tools that support companies in collecting, collating, streamlining, and analysing data have been sought. This brings us to the start of our nature risk intelligence technology.
