Development of an AI System for Detecting Fraudulent Insurance Claims
AIOI R&D LAB-OXFORD developed an AI system to detect fraudulent claims in auto repair costs. Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance will use this system to understand trends in repair cost claims from various auto repair shops, enhancing its damage assessment capabilities.

Commencement of Joint Development of AI-Based Bridge Inspection Support Tool
AIOI R&D LAB-OXFORD, in collaboration with Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance, started the joint development of a bridge inspection support tool. This tool will detect damages and quantify the health of bridges managed by Susono City using inspection photos.

Awarded the UK-JP Partnership Award at the British Business Awards 2023
Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance received the 'UK-JP Partnership Award' at the British Business Awards 2023, hosted by the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan. This award recognized the company's collaborative work at the Aioi R&D Lab - Oxford, established in November 2022 with Mind Foundry, an AI venture from the University of Oxford.
